Join our passionate group in making the city we live in a better place! Weekly litter pickups across the city that only take one hour, but make a significant difference thanks to our awesome volunteers!
Upcoming Litter Pickup Schedule

Wed 11/19 6:30-7:30am 6677 Cloudview Dr (W)
Sat 11/22 10-11am 7494 Balsam Dr (LV)

Meet like-minded volunteers and join efforts to actively better our community. Pickups are scheduled for one hour only, together we can do a lot in 60 minutes! All supplies are provided, like grabber tools that make picking litter up kinda fun instead of being a chore. If the weather isn't cooperating, we won't hesitate to reschedule the pickup for another day.
If litter in an area is accepted and common, more litter is likely to accumulate! A neighborhood full of litter is more likely to harbor crime as well. Our efforts with area beautification will not only offset mindless littering, but also decrease the city's crime. Fight with us to keep El Paso beautiful and safe.
The power of El Pasoans from all walks of life coming together to make our home a little more beautiful!

SCP is proud to spotlight volunteers Ramona and Victor, whose dedication continues to inspire our community.
Ramona, a retired real estate professional, is passionate about music and literature. She plays piano, belongs to a local book club, and has built an impressive personal library. Victor, a native of El Paso, pursued a career in art and design. After becoming VP/Creative Director for two national companies, he later taught at UTEP before founding his own firm. His most notable project: leading the design of the El Paso Holocaust Museum, including its narratives, films, and touring layout.
Married for 20 years, the couple embraces an active retirement—walking their dogs, traveling, and enjoying family life. They recently returned from a trip across Europe. Yet despite their full
lives, they remain committed to keeping El Paso clean.
When a local retail store’s property began attracting illegal dumping, Ramona and Victor reported it, ultimately prompting changes that improved the neighborhood.
What makes our Borderplex region thrive are the dedicated people who care for their home and take pride in living here. Their proactiveness exemplifies what El Pasoans mean to this city. I’m not a native Chuco resident like Victor, but myself and the rest of SCP are honored to be
working alongside both him and Ramona, and all of our volunteers at each and every litter
pickup.
Thank you, Ramona and Victor—and thank you to every Picker who helps make our city shine!

We’re pumped to announce our community water station program! The program’s main purpose is to provide free, easily accessible water to those who need it, especially those most vulnerable to the summer desert heat. An added bonus is reducing the amount of single use plastic water bottles and styrofoam cups, two of the most common pieces of litter we see.

Your donation directly restores beauty to our community.
All volunteers and donations are welcome!
